Behind The Veil: A Conversation With Celebrity Photographer Suzanne Delawar
Suzanne's photographs have been published internationally in magazines and media platforms such as Netflix, The Ellen Degeneres Show, Disney, Harper’s Bazaar, Brides Magazine and more. By the age of 14, Suzanne started photographing weddings with her own team learning the value of leadership & teamwork.
As a teenager still in high school, her dad spoke to the school principal who allowed her to leave classes early to shoot on set of “Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami”, a popular TV Show on E! Entertainment. On set, she captured portraits of The Kardashians throughout the day that would later be used for press, TV and other outlets. At 16, Suzanne started shooting press events throughout Miami.
Suzanne decided to expand her business, newly offering cinematic wedding videos that many have described as a “Hollywood Movie”. While capturing weddings on weekends, during the week Suzanne spent most of her time shooting events and products for high end brands such as: iHeartRadio, Disney, Comcast, Hawaiian Tropics and more. In 2015, she shot two images for Pitbull’s DALE Album. Suzanne’s first celebrity wedding was on July 8th, 2013 for Wiz Khalifia and Amber Rose in Pittsburgh, PA;
This initiated Suzanne’s experience in celebrity weddings and events such as Dwyane Wade & Gabrielle Union’s wedding in Miami, FL on August 30th, 2014; Will Packer & Heather Hayslett’s wedding in Georgia on August 28th, 2015; Kevin Hart & Eniko Parrish’s wedding in Montecito, CA on August 13th, 2016; Kid Ink & Asiah Azante’s wedding in Kauai, HA. on October 15th, 2016; Michael Jordan’s son Jeffery Jordan & Radina Aneva’s wedding in The Bahamas on May 25th, 2019; Jennifer Hudson’s sons Birthday Party in Chicago, IL in August 2019.
